The DoD has recently rolled out an updated CMMC model that is currently under public review. The rulemaking process will take about 9 - 24 months.

Here's what you need to know:

CMMC 2.0 will be more affordable
The overall structure will be condensed into three levels (instead of five)
Bravo recommends that you to practice DFARS and NIST SP 800-171 until this updated model is officially implemented
